Tuesday night is our premier night of racing. Racers from all around Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois compete May through August in various sprint and endurance track events.
Spectators can cheer on their favorite racer, free, from “the hill” as these athletes race at 35+ mph on the steep, 28-degree corner banked track.
I wanna race
Racing is available for ages 9 and up, and includes all speeds and skill levels. You don’t have to be fast to start racing, you just have to have a competitive spirit.
What you need to get started
- USA Cycling license – Click the Join / Renew button to join, then make sure you add a race license.
- Track 101 – A 3-hour starter course to get you familiar with the basic rules and tactics of track racing.
- Race numbers – You can purchase a set of race numbers ahead of your race for $25. These numbers are good for the entire season (so hang on to them).
- Helmet
- Track bike – A limited number of track bikes are available for rent ahead of each race evening.
Fixed gear track bikes are required on Tuesday Nights. These specialized bikes don’t have hand brakes or shifters, and have a single cog affixed to the rear wheel; if the back wheel is turning so are the pedals.
Licensed riders from age 9 and up are grouped in ability level.
